Ace director of the punjabi film industry, Pankaj Batra, who has directed commercially successful movies like Bambukaat, Channa Mereya, Channo Kamli Yar Di and Sajjan Singh Rangroot and had also won the Filmfare Award for the Best Director for his film Bambukaat, had announced the commencement of the shoot of his next movie in July this year. The shooting of the movie is complete and the first poster of the film has been released by the makers.

The film has been titled High End Yaariyaan and it stars popular actors- Jassie Gill, Ranjit Bawa and Ninja in the lead roles. The Pankaj Batra directorial film has been produced by Pitaara Talkies Private Limited and Pankaj Batra. This movie will mark Pankaj Batra’s debut as a producer and this movie would also be Pitaara Talkies’ first film as a producer. Vineet Malhotra, who has worked with Pankaj Batra in almost all his projects, is the DOP of this movie as well.

In this movie Ranjit Bawa, Jassie Gill and Ninja, will be seen sharing the silver screen for the first time. This movie will be Ranjit Bawa’s first with Pankaj Batra whereas Jassie Gill and Ninja have previously worked with the award winning director in Dildariyaan and Channa Mereya respectively. Popular model Aarushi Sharma, Ambarsariya fame actress Navneet Kaur Dhillon and Muskan Sethi have been starred opposite the three lead actors of the film. Aarushi Sharma who has done modelling in many punjabi songs, the most recent being Hathh Chumme by Ammy Virk, will be doing a film for the first time and this movie would also be Muskan Sethi’s debut film in the Punjabi Cinema

The movie would release next year on 22 February. The movie will be distributed by the renowned Omjee Group. The film has been mostly shot in London and in Chandigarh. The name of the movie suggests that it would be based on the theme of friendship. The fans are eagerly looking forward to the film.
