The Mastermind Jinda Sukha banned in India

It’s official, The Mastermind Jinda Sukha is banned in India. The Central Board of Film Certification has revoked the certificate for Public Screening of the film after getting reports that the content of the film can cause unrest in the country.

The Mastermind Jinda Sukha, which earlier got a certificate from censor after cutting few scenes of the film, was re examined by the CBFC today. In the re examination the CBFC decided to revoke the certificate earlier given to the film. So far we have not learnt the reasons, the censor board has given for revoking the certificate. Lead actor Nav Bajwa expressed his disappointment on Facebook. The actor wrote that he was sad to hear the news of ban. He had worked heard for the role of Harjinder Singh Jinda and wanted Punjab to see him playing it.

 

 

Punjabi Mania has learnt that the makers are determined to release the film in India. They will soon discuss the decision given by CBFC and might follow a legal route.

Previously Punjabi film Sadda Haq, took the issue of releasing the movie to Supreme court of India. The film was then allowed to showcase in cinemas but only after a long legal fight.
