The whole nation is grieved and disheartened by the recent terror attack on Indian CRPF in Pulwama which led to the deaths of more than forty jawaans. These jawaans lost their lives in the course of protecting the country and its citizens. Its a sad time not only for the families of these martyrs but for the whole nation as every one is saddened by this news and is mourning the loss of these jawaans.

Even though this loss is irreplaceable and no one can comfort the families of these martyrs in any way, many citizens have come forward to provide financial support to the families of these bravehearts. The Punjabi industry also came forward to help, as many stars donated money to the grieved families. The big names who are a part of this list are Ammy Virk, Ranjit Bawa and Badshah.

Ammy Virk donated 10 lakh, 2.5 lakh each to the four servicemen of Punjab- Ct. Sukhjinder Singh, Kuwinder Singh, Hc Jaimal Singh and Maninder Singh. Ranjit Bawa also took the initiative to help the families of the Punjabi jawaans by giving 2.5 lakh to each family. Pitaara channel also contributed 11 lakh to the bereaved families. Badshah also stepped forward and contributed by paying 3 lac rupees to the fund that would go to the families of the martyred CRPF Jawaans.

All of these artists shared their contribution on their social media handle in order to encourage the citizens to come forward and help in this hour of need. Many other stars also tweeted and shared their grief on social media. The Punjabi film industry has come united in this difficult time. We should pray for the families of the martyrs and we should try to help and contribute in whatever way we can.
