Why Deep Joshi continually abused: The Punjabi actor opened up on his role in the upcoming movie titled ‘Mitran Nu Shaunk Hathyaran Da’.

Actor Deep Joshi, who successfully played the role of SHO Amit Sehgal in the Punjabi remake of Singham‘ last month, is all set to present a highly contrasting role in his upcoming Punjabi movie titled ‘Mitran Nu Shaunk Hathyaran Da’.

From using ammunition legally in his last movie to using them as a hobby in his next movie, Joshi’s character is likely to move though huge roads of transformation.

In a recent interview with Punjabi Mania, Joshi opened up on his role in Mitran Nu Shaunk Hathyaran Da and denied it being of a negative shade. “I am playing Dev in the movie. He is a well-educated but unemployed young man.

“It is not a negative character. It’s similar to many contemporary boys of Punjab. Boys who are educated but lack a vision in life. Dev will be among boys who don’t know what they want to do in life,” Joshi was quoted as saying.

If reports doing the rounds are to be believed, Joshi was accused of abusing repetitively (not semantically) on the sets of Mitran Nu Shaunk Hathyaran Da. Being asked about the same, Joshi didn’t deny doing it but also mentioned not doing it on purpose.

“Yes. A lot of abusive language has been used [by my character] in the movie. But it hasn’t been done on purpose. The abuses are similar to the amount and kind of abuses we use whilst sitting with friends in our routine life.

“There’s no special emphasis on abusing but it’s just the nature of my character as it is the nature of many boys in Punjab. I believe that it’s a very justified sequence,” Joshi added.

Directed by Sagar S. Sharma, Mitran Nu Shaunk Hathyaran Da will hit the silver screens on November 8 this year.
