Zakhmi Preview: Punjabi Mania present before you the full movie preview of upcoming Punjabi movie titled ‘Zakhmi’.
The month of February is lined up with four Punjabi movies – all of which have it in them to generate interest among fans with respect to visiting the cinema halls. ‘Zakhmi’, the first one out of them, will hit the silver screens on this Friday, i.e., February 7.
The trailer of the movie had released on the official YouTube channel of Speed Records nearly three weeks ago. At the time of writing this article, it has received in vicinity of three million views on the same platform.
Inderpal Singh, who has written the scripts of several Punjabi movies in the recent past, will make his directorial debut with Zakhmi. Apart from the director, actress Anchal Singh will also be seen for the first time in a Punjabi movie.
That being said, the weight of the movie undeniably lies on the bankable shoulders of actor Dev Kharoud. Other than the lead pair, Zakhmi also stars Baby Teju Popli, Lakha Lehri, Suvinder Vicky, Gurinder Dimpy, Sanju Solanki, Ram Aujla, Jaggi Dhuri, Karamjit Brar, Aman Sutdhar and Manjit Singh.

The movie is likely to portray the consequences of city life and how a family fails to tackle the same (initially). It is evident from the trailer that the movie will witness Kharoud protecting his family amidst rousing action.
While the action genre is nothing new for the protean actor, him playing a father on-screen for the first time is a facet of his craft which will invite unrestricted opinions.
Having worked together successfully in the past an a writer and an actor, what Inderpal and Kharoud’s new director-actor partnership holds for us will be known after watching the movie in cinema halls on this Friday.

Zakhmi has been produced by Binnu Dhillon, Ashu Munish Sahni and Aniket Kawade under the banners of Speed Records, Binnu Dhillon Productions and Omjee Star Studios.
The movie is likely to receive some competition from Mohit Suri’s ‘Malang’ and Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s ‘Shikara’ especially in urban centres of the state. Having said that, Kharoud’s heavy fan-following is almost certain to provide him with yet another fruitful opening at the box-office.
