Aasif Nominates Mahhi After Kanika-Arishfa Ghee Clash

Bigg Boss 20's 12 October episode moved from a dispute over ghee to the first nomination of a new week. Captain Aasif Khan eventually named Mahhi Vij, but the episode stopped before revealing a complete nomination list. Here's how the day unfolded.

Manish and Nakul find their feet in the house

After entering over the weekend, wild cards Manish Goel and Nakul Dhull spent their first full day getting to know the housemates. Love Gill wondered how the pair would settle in. Nakul soon joined Qazi Touqeer in a playful push-up challenge: Qazi struggled with Nakul on his back, while Nakul managed the reverse.

There was a brief warmer moment for Qazi, too. Aasif and Yung DSA shared eggs with him as he recovered from feeling unwell. Yung joked that Qazi needed to get better because they still had arguments left to have. It was a lighter follow-up to the tension over Qazi's health that Salman Khan addressed during Sunday's Weekend Ka Vaar.

As captain, Aasif also received a perk: the chance to have his clothes ironed. The privilege was small compared with the decision he would have to make later in the episode.

How a request for ghee became the day's big fight

Kanika Mann asked Aasif for ghee. He initially declined, saying he could not favour one housemate while distributing food. Arishfa Khan then accused Kanika of being selfish about food. Kanika accepted that description, but the exchange did not end there. Gullu sided with Kanika, and Arishfa was upset by his intervention.

Arishfa took the ghee bottle and refused to hand it over. Nakul backed her position, drawing him into another argument with Kanika. Kanika said she would not cook breakfast without it, while Qazi questioned why the request had become such a big issue. No one appeared ready to let the matter drop.

Aasif eventually asked Arishfa to give Kanika the ghee because Kanika was going hungry. Arishfa agreed with a condition, and Manish praised Aasif for stepping in. The captain had begun by trying to avoid favouritism and ended up making a practical call so someone could eat. Whether that was fair to everyone became the real argument.

Mahhi later raised her own complaint about unequal food distribution with Qazi. She grew emotional while describing the situation, and Kanika and Qazi supported her. Her concern was separate from Kanika and Arishfa's clash, but it showed why ration decisions were weighing on more than one housemate.

Nakul's questions leave Aman uncomfortable

Elsewhere, Aman Gandhi and Nakul had a personal conversation. After Aman spoke about attitudes in Mumbai, Nakul asked him questions about his sexuality. The exchange appeared to make Aman uncomfortable. Nakul later told Gullu and Qazi that he had deliberately brought up homophobia after sensing Aman's reaction.

The episode does not establish what Aman thought beyond his response in that conversation. What it does show is Nakul testing boundaries during his first full day inside the house, after already taking a side in the food dispute.

Aasif uses his nomination power on Mahhi

Bigg Boss then announced a special nomination power for captain Aasif. The task was described as “limitless,” with housemates able to nominate a person more than once. Asked to make his direct choice, Aasif named Mahhi Vij.

That is the confirmed nomination shown at the close of this episode. The rest of the week's nominees and any official voting deadline were not settled in this update. Mahhi's name now gives the new round its first clear stake, particularly after her earlier frustration over food.
