Munde U.K. De

Manmohan Singh's 'Munde U.K. De' was released in 2009 and opened to positive response from the audiences. As the name suggests, the movie starts as two NRIs from U.K. plan to visit in India. Roop Singh (Jimmy Sheirgill) has to visit Punjab to meet his grandfather (Arun Bali) and DJ (Gurpreet Ghuggi) is interested at watching the modern-day Punjab. Shortly after landing in India, Roop falls in love with Reet Brar (Neeru Bajwa), a close friend of Deepi (Teenu Sharma), Roop's sister. The love story stars to blossom, but, Jaile Brar, (Binnu Dhillon) Reet's brother, plays the spoilsport. Mr. Brar (Deep Dhillon) is also against the marriage. The father-son duo aims at gaining personal benefits from this alliance. Meanwhile, DJ falls for Kulwant Kaur (Akshita Vasudeva), a geek. The movie also marked the debut of Amrinder Gill in Punjabi movies. The limited time for which he appeared on screen as Jagjot Gill was liked by one and all.
