Popular Punjabi singer and lyricist Karan Aujla has announced the cancellation of his much-anticipated Europe tour scheduled for 2025. The decision has left many fans disappointed, but the artist assured them that the move is intended to make his upcoming performances more memorable.

In a statement shared with his followers, Aujla expressed regret for the cancellation, saying he had been looking forward to meeting his European audience. “I am very sorry to call off this tour. I was excited to perform, but I wanted to deliver the most unforgettable show of my career. For that, I need a little more time to prepare and bring it to a bigger stage,” he said.

While the full Europe tour has been scrapped, organizers confirmed that Malta Fest will take place as planned. Fans across the continent will now have to wait for a revised schedule, with Aujla promising that his return will set a new benchmark in his live performances.

The singer has recently been in the spotlight for reasons beyond music. His track MF Gabru attracted criticism after allegations of derogatory references to women surfaced, prompting Punjab State Women’s Commission chairperson Raj Lali Gill to issue a notice seeking his explanation. Aujla denied the allegations, calling them baseless.

The controversy followed another incident in December 2024, when Aujla was accused of promoting alcohol in his songs during a show in Chandigarh. The matter reached the Punjab and Haryana High Court, leading to police intervention that restricted him from performing such tracks at the event.

Despite these challenges, Aujla remains one of the most celebrated figures in Punjabi music, and fans are hopeful that his next tour will live up to his promise of being “the biggest and most memorable show” of his career.
