Punjabi music sensation Karan Aujla recently made headlines for sporting the ultra-luxury Jacob & Co. Epic X “Sher-e-Punjab” Edition, a timepiece valued at around Rs 35.88 lakh. Known for his extravagant taste and fearless fashion statements, Aujla chose this rare watch as a tribute to his Punjabi heritage and Sikh traditions.
Taking to Instagram to share his excitement, he wrote, “Respect to Jacob & Co. and Much love to Ethos Watches,” giving a nod to the renowned luxury brand and its official Indian retailer for crafting this culturally significant masterpiece.
The watch itself is a celebration of Sikh symbolism. Its skeletonized vertical bridges feature sacred emblems including the Ek Onkar, the Khanda, and a roaring lion, each symbolizing strength, faith, and honor. Adding to its spiritual depth, the inner bezel is engraved with the Sikh greeting “Sat Sri Akal.”
Design details continue with a bold blue honeycomb rubber strap, reflecting colors traditionally associated with Sikh culture. At its core, the watch houses the hand-wound Calibre JCAM02, an openworked skeleton movement that offers a 48-hour power reserve.
Exclusivity is a hallmark of the Epic X “Sher-e-Punjab” Edition, with only 50 pieces made worldwide. Collectors can choose between Titanium and 18K Rose Gold (44mm) versions. In India, the timepiece is available solely through Ethos Watches, priced between Rs 34 lakh and Rs 35.88 lakh.
