Actor Parineeti Chopra and her husband, Aam Aadmi Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha, are all set to embrace parenthood. The couple took to Instagram on Monday to announce the much-awaited news of their pregnancy, leaving fans and friends overjoyed.
The joint post featured a delicately styled setup, a round silver platter with a beautifully decorated cake placed over soft beige fabric, surrounded by fresh white flowers. At the center of the cake were golden imprints of two tiny baby feet along with the words, “1 + 1 = 3,” symbolizing the soon-to-be addition to their family. The couple also shared a short video of themselves strolling hand in hand through a park, their backs to the camera, radiating happiness and togetherness.
Alongside the post, they wrote: “Our little universe … on its way. Blessed beyond measure,” with emojis of a red heart and the evil eye for good wishes.
The announcement was met with an outpouring of congratulatory messages from both the film fraternity and political circles. Actor Sonam Kapoor commented, “Congratulations darling,” while Bhumi Pednekar joined in with, “Congratulations.”

Interestingly, this news comes weeks after Raghav Chadha playfully hinted at their family plans during an appearance with Parineeti on The Great Indian Kapil Show. When host Kapil Sharma teased the couple about giving “good news,” Raghav quipped, “Denge, aapko denge… good news jaldi denge!” (We’ll give you good news soon), leaving Parineeti surprised and the audience in splits.

The couple tied the knot on September 24, 2023, at the grand Leela Palace Hotel in Udaipur, Rajasthan, in the presence of close family, political dignitaries, and Bollywood celebrities.
