The upcoming weekend is one of those few and far between weekends in the year when two Punjabi movies stand opposite each other ready to pin the other one down at the box-office. This Punjab derby will see Nav Bajwa's 'Raduaa' and Kavi Raz's 'Kande' lock horns against each other.
After going through its fair share of obstructions, Raduaa, Punjabi industry's first Sci-Fi movie will see the daylight on this Friday, i.e., 11/05/2018. The trailer of the movie was released a couple of weeks ago on the official YouTube channel of T-Series Apna Punjab. Raduaa will mark the directorial debut of Nav Bajwa in the Punjabi music industry. Apart from directing the movie, he has also written its script, produced the movie and most importantly played the role of the lead actor. Sharma, the movie comprises of two actors who can dictate terms on their own. Satinder Satti will also be appearing on screen after a hiatus of more than two and a half years.
However, what forms a prime reason behind watching Raduaa is its distinctive concept. The movie is based on the concept of time-travel. The movie will see its actors travelling back in time via radio frequencies. Whether they will be able to come back will only be known after watching the movie. The Sci-Fi category of the movie is in itself its USP, something which has it in it to allure the audiences towards the cinema halls on this Friday.
