Bathinda Express, a film stuck in the Censor Offices for a long time now finally has been cleared by the Censor Board today. Bathinda Express is not the first Punjabi film in recent times which has got in troubles with the Censor Board but recently films like Sadda Haq and Sutta Naag also had their share of issues but now finally all this has come to an end.
Earlier the film was supposed to release on January 17, 2014. An excited Deep Joshi (Producer, Director & Lead Actor) from the team of Bathinda Express, spoke to Punjabi Mania and had to say, “Our film has been ready for release for quite a while now but we were refused a U/A certificate by the Censors and were being given an A certificate. However, after our share of battles with them we have finally managed to get a U/A certificate.” Also he thanked the people and online portals who stood by him during his troubles and said, “I thank all the people and media, especially the online web portals who stood by my side and supported me in my bad times. And it is because of their support that today we have won our argument with the Censor Board and got a clearance from them.”
When asked about the new release date of the film, Deep refused to make any comments and said that he cannot many any announcements now and will announce all of it once he discussed the release and promotions strategy with his distributors and the team of Bathinda Express.
