Bollywood veteran Mahesh Bhatt is entering Punjabi Cinema by presenting a feature film, Dushman. The film stars Shaad Randhawa and Kartar Cheema. Produced by Vinay Bhardwaj, the film is directed by Shagufta Rafique. 

The shooting for the film is expected to start soon. August 14, 2016 has been announced as the tentative date of release. 

It is worth noting that earlier Subash Ghai’s Mukta Arts had produced a Punjabi flick, Double di Trouble, which received average collections at the box office. Also recently Priyanka Chopra has announced a Punjabi film to be produced by her production house.
