The heartthtob of the Punjabi industry- Gippy Grewal has had a packed year. On one hand, where his last outing ‘Ardaas Karaan’ is still receiving love & on the other, Gippy is all geared up for his next project.

Earlier this year, Gippy Grewal and Bhushan Kumar announced their first production collaboration together titled ‘Daaka’. Ending the long wait, the makers have released the first official poster of the movie. Featuring the lead star Gippy Grewal in the avatar of a dacoit, the first look hints at a dark and intense drama.

Bollywood and Punjabi actress, Zareen Khan is playing the female lead opposite Gippy Grewal in the film. Gippy and Zareen have earlier worked together in the 2014 superhit film Jatt James Bond, and share a great onscreen chemistry.

The film is being made under the banner of Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in association with Humble Motion Pictures and is being bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Gippy Grewal and Ravneet Kaur Grewal. The film has been directed by the Baljeet Singh Deo. The story is written by Gippy Grewal himself while the dialogues are by Naresh Kathooria. ‘Daaka’ is releasing worldwide on November 1st, 2019.
