After showing his talent in the music industry, popular Punjabi artist Kulwinder Billa has also shown his mettle in acting. In this raining season of movies, Kulwinder Billa’s film ‘Television’ has also got a release date. The movie was announced in August last year and the makers have finally revealed the release date of the film. The movie will hit the screens on 13 September this year.

After Parahuna, this film will be Kulwinder Billa’s second film as the lead actor. Billa had made his debut in the Punjabi industry last year with the film Subedar Joginder Singh, in which he played a supporting character. The first look poster of the film is out and suggests that the movie will be a period drama. The title and the poster of the film are very interesting, intriguing and unique.

The man behind films like ‘Angrez’, ‘Daddy Cool Munde Fool’, ‘Mar Gaye Oye Loko’, ‘Subedar Joginder Singh’ and ‘Nikka Zaildar Series’, Simerjit Singh is bankrolling this project. The movie is a Simerjit Singh Production and is being directed by Taj. The popular Punjabi actress of the Punjabi industry- Mandy takhar will play the female lead opposite Kulwinder Billa in the film. The movie has been written by Mani Manjinder Singh and will be released worldwide by the Omjee group.

The tagline of the film ‘Tasveeraan Boldiyaan’ which means ‘pictures speak’, is very beguiling and has created curiosity amongst the fans. Not many details about the film have been revealed by the makers yet. The complete starcast of the film has also been kept under the wraps. The team is excited for the film and the audience is also eagerly looking forward to the movie.
