Laung Laachi becomes first Indian song: The blockbuster song has achieved a significant milestone as far as the Indian music is concerned.

Blockbuster Punjabi song ‘Laung Laachi’ has become the first Indian song to cross the 1-billion mark (views) on streaming platform YouTube.

Title track of the movie released last year, the song instantly accepted by people in both Punjab and overseas. The song being recreated in Laxman Utekar’s ‘Luka Chuppi’ earlier this year speaks about its success at a pan-India level.

Released in February 2018, the video of the song has taken 22 months to achieve the mark. A song from a regional industry achieving such a milestone has made one and all proud of the achievement.

The video of the song featured actress Neeru Bajwa, singer-turned-actor Ammy Virk and writer-turned-director-turned-actor Amberdeep Singh.

While the song was penned down by Harmanjeet, it was sung in the melodious voice of Mannat Noor who rose to instant fame on the back of the song.

Illustrious music director Gurmeet Singh had worked on the music of the song which had released under the banner of T-Series Apna Punjab.
