Neha Kakkar’s Melbourne Concert Organizers Claim They Are in 'Big Debt', Comes With Proof

Organizers of Neha Kakkar’s March 23 concert in Melbourne have expressed that they are in "big debt" following the event, stating that the singer should be the one making payments to them. This development comes just hours after Kakkar issued a statement accusing the organizers of mismanagement and anomalies in payments.

During a Facebook Live session, a representative from Beats Production, the company behind the concert, denied the allegations made by Kakkar, calling them "completely false."

“We are in big debt after the show. She should be the one paying us. It was a mistake having her on board,” said the representative.

Kakkar had earlier accused the concert organizers of withholding her payment and mistreating her team. In a statement released on Thursday, the singer claimed that the organizers had run off with her money and that her band was not provided with basic necessities like food, water, or even accommodation.

“The organisers ran away with my money and others too. My band wasn’t even given food, hotel accommodations, or water,” Kakkar wrote, detailing what she described as the poor arrangements made for the show.

Kakkar also claimed that the sound vendor had refused to conduct a sound check before the concert, citing unpaid dues from the organizers. “We did not even know if the concert was happening because the organisers stopped picking my manager's calls. Apparently, they were running away from the sponsors and everyone,” Kakkar added.

In response to Neha’s statement, the organizers vowed to “expose everybody” involved in the controversy. They promised to present evidence to reveal the truth behind the events surrounding the concert.

Earlier in the week, Neha’s elder brother, Tony Kakkar, also shared cryptic posts on social media, hinting at the organizers' mismanagement. His posts came shortly after Neha faced backlash online for allegedly being "unprofessional."

In one of his Instagram posts, Tony described the situation: “Suppose I invite you to my city for an event and take full responsibility for all arrangements—booking your hotel, car, airport pickup, and tickets. Now, imagine you arrive only to find that nothing has been booked. No car at the airport, no hotel reservation, no tickets. In that situation, who is to blame?”

As the dispute continues, both parties are standing by their claims, with tensions rising over the mishandling of the concert's arrangements.
