Gippy Grewal and Neeru Bajwa to reunite: Two of the biggest names in the Punjabi film industry are all set to reunite on-screen in their upcoming movie.
Punjabi superstars in Gippy Grewal and Neeru Bajwa are all set to reunite on-screen after a decade in their upcoming movie titled 'Paani Ch Madhaani'.
The significant development was made public after Grewal took to his social media platforms to share details about the project an hour ago. Apart from the lead pair, Paani Ch Madhaani will also witness tried and tested names such as Rana Ranbir, Karamjit Anmol and Harby Sangha in pivotal roles.
Written by Naresh Kathooria, Paani Ch Madhaani will be directed by Vijay Kumar Arora who had last directed the critically and commercially acclaimed 'Guddiyan Patole' last year.
Gippy Grewal and Neeru Bajwa to reunite
Grewal and Bajwa were last seen together on the silver screen in Mandeep Kumar's 'Jihne Mera Dil Luteya' (2011). Bajwa, who featured in Grewal's song titled 'Daang' around the same time, was also among the 12 celebrities to feature in his single track titled 'Nach Nach' during the COVID-19 lockdown.
The news of them signing a movie together is unequivocally a source of amazement for their bountiful fans in Punjab and overseas. While Grewal was last seen in Rakesh Mehta's 'Ik Sandhu Hunda Si' this year, Bajwa's last movie was Jagdeep Sidhu's 'Shadaa' (2019).
Paani Ch Madhaani will be produced by Mani Dhaliwal, Sunny Raj and Dr. Prabhjot S. Sidhu under the banner of Dara Films Entertainment.
