Pollywood Box Office Report: Judaa Leads Box Office on Saturday With Rs 41.5 Lakh Estimate, Yara Jigree Kasooti Degree On Second

Pollywood Box Office: The latest Saturday tracking figures have placed Judaa at the top of the Punjabi film box office, with the newly released movie recording an estimated Rs 41.5 lakh in India on August 22.

According to the available tracking data, Judaa contributed around 67% of the Rs 61.6 lakh combined gross recorded across the four Punjabi titles featured in the latest report. The film's estimated tracked collection has now reached Rs 77.8 lakh.

The strong Saturday performance gives Judaa a clear lead over the other films in the tracked field, with the movie attracting an estimated 16,694 tickets across 586 shows. Its reported occupancy stood at around 16%.

Yaar Jigree Kasooti Degree Holds Second Position

The long-running Punjabi title Yaar Jigree Kasooti Degree secured the second spot in Saturday's tracking. The film recorded an estimated Rs 17.8 lakh for the day, taking its tracked total to approximately Rs 7.14 crore.

The film registered around 6,801 tickets across 334 shows, with reported occupancy at 11.3%.

Together, Judaa and Yaar Jigree Kasooti Degree accounted for roughly 96% of the total tracked gross among the four films included in the report, underlining the gap between the two leading titles and the rest of the field.

Ishqnama and Kankaan De Ohle Trail

Ishqnama occupied the third position with an estimated Saturday collection of Rs 2.3 lakh. Its reported tracked total stands at approximately Rs 11.6 crore, based on the figures shown in the box-office report.

The film recorded an estimated 885 tickets across 35 shows, with occupancy listed at 13.6%.

Meanwhile, Kankaan De Ohle remained fourth in the tracked rankings. The film registered an estimated Rs 5,320 from one reported show, with 20 tickets recorded and occupancy at 26%. Its estimated tracked total was listed at around Rs 66.1 lakh.

Judaa Emerges as Weekend Leader

With Judaa leading the Saturday numbers by a significant margin, Gulab Sidhu's debut venture has made an encouraging start among this week's new Punjabi releases. Its estimated Rs 41.5 lakh Saturday figure is more than double the collection recorded by Yaar Jigree Kasooti Degree for the same day.

The coming days will determine whether Judaa can maintain its momentum and convert the strong Saturday showing into a sustained theatrical run.
