Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda who has delivered many hit singles like Ban, Sardaari, Mera Dil and Kangani has finally signed his first film titled ‘Mahi Ve’ as a lead actor.The singer had made his acting debut this year in the movie Subedar Joginder Singh which starred Gippy Grewal in the main lead. Despite getting many acting offers, the singer has signed only this film as a main lead till now.

The shooting of the movie has started. The first schedule of the film is being shot in Thailand. According to sources, the next schedule of the movie will be shot in Punjab. The movie will be a romantic drama and is being made under the banner of BRS Films and is produced by Pawan Aggarwal. The movie is being directed by Rabb Ne Banaiyan Jodiean fame director Darshan Bagga who has also directed movies like Mera Punjab and Shikaar.

Sara Sharma will be playing the female lead opposite Rajvir Jawanda in the film. Other than the lead pair, the film has a stellar cast which includes actors like Jaswinder Bhalla, Upasana Singh and Harby Sangha. Rajvir made the special announcement of this movie by posting a picture on his social media handle. The release date has not been disclosed by the makers yet, but according to sources the movie will hit the cinemas next year.
