Sidhu Moose Wala movie release date: Tarnvir Singh Jagpal announces release date of 'Yes I Am Student'

Sidhu Moose Wala movie release date: Writer-director Tarnvir Singh Jagpal has announced the release date of his upcoming Punjabi movie.

Titled 'Yes I Am Student', sensational artist Sidhu Moose Wala's debut movie as a lead actor was announced in 2018. However, due to multiple intentional and unintentional delays, the movie is yet to release in the cinema halls.

In what is going to be his third movie as a director, it was this afternoon that director Tarnvir Singh Jagpal announced the release date of the movie via an Instagram story.

In addition to Moose Wala, the movie also stars actress Mandy Takhar in a lead role. Lyricist Gill Raunta, whose first film as a writer in ‘Kaka Ji‘ had released in 2019, has written the script of Yes I Am Student.

In his story, Jagpal confirmed that Yes I Am Student will release in the cinema halls on October 22 this year given that the COVID-19 cases remain in control in the country.

It is worth mentioning that Jagpal had previously announced releasing a fascinating first look and potentially the release date of the movie in April but the same was presumably not done due to uncertainty caused the second wave of coronavirus in India.



 

Barring Avtar Singh's 'Kuriyan Jawan Bapu Preshaan' earlier this year, no other mainstream Punjabi movie has released since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.
