Sidhu Moose Wala was not only one of the greatest singers of the decade, but was a young star who made India shine on the global level. The star was loved by audiences across the world, just like his idol and world renowned rapper Tupac Amaru Shakur.
Tupac Shakur known professionally as 2Pac and later Makaveli, was an American rapper and actor. He is considered one of the most influential rappers of all time and is among the best-selling music artists, having sold more than 75 million records worldwide. Just like Sidhu, 2Pac changed the face of music and brought a new musical culture, with unique yet appealing work.
The star of Punjabi industry- Sidhu Moose Wala idolised the international star and was highly influenced by his life, ideology, work and career. Sidhu referred to the artist in his works and spoke about him in many of his interviews. Other than that, Sidhu wrote a line for 2Pac in his popular song ‘Homicide’ too. Unfortunately, both the loved stars met the end of their life in the same way.
At the age of 25, Tupac was shot by gunshots from a .40 S&W Glock 22, which hit him twice in the chest, once in the arm and once in the thigh, while he was in his car, driving to some place. The incident took place on September 7, 1996 and Tupac lost this life 6 days after the incident, post fighting a hard fight.
Sidhu Moose Wala, who was just 28 year old, also lost his life in a similar shooting incident which took place two days back and shattered the whole Punjabi community into pieces. Moose Wala was driving his Thar, when he was shot dead by rounds of bullets, near his village Moosa in Mansa district.
It is shocking and overwhelming to compare the deaths of both the legendary musical artists who were loved by millions of people in the world. The recent loss of Sidhu Moose Wala is a big one, not only for his family but for the whole Punjabi community.
