Punjabi singer and actress Sunanda Sharma was honored at the ET Inspiring Women Conclave 2025 for her remarkable contributions as a female artist in the entertainment industry.

Before accepting the award, Sunanda proudly stated, "Power of Punjabis," highlighting her pride in her roots. Upon receiving her honor from Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre, Sunanda expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thank you for having me here. It feels great to represent Punjab beyond my state."

In a heartfelt post on social media, Sunanda shared her excitement: "Honored to be recognized at 'ET Women Conclave 2025' and to be part of such an inspiring event. Grateful to represent Punjab and have my journey in the entertainment industry appreciated as a female artist. Truly humbled to share this stage with so many incredible women!"

She further dedicated her award to all those "kudiyan/mundeyan" (girls/young people) who work hard to fulfill their dreams, saying, "This award is dedicated to all the girls and boys who are working hard to achieve their dreams for themselves and their families. Receiving this recognition is a matter of great pride for me. For kids like me, coming from humble backgrounds, to receive respect, love, and an award like this is the greatest achievement. The biggest reward is when people greet you with a smile and acknowledge your work."

Sunanda Sharma is a celebrated Punjabi singer known for both her captivating voice and her charismatic presence on and off the screen. Recently, she emerged as a vocal advocate for the rights of Punjabi artists, expressing gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for his support in her efforts to address their exploitation. After overcoming a controversial phase, Sunanda declared, "Now, I am an independent artist," signaling a new chapter in her career.
