New Year, New Cinema! 2023 has received a great start, in terms of films, cinema and entertainment. It is just the third day of the new year and already many big film announcements have surfaced, giving the year a cinematic kickstart. The new year is going to be a year of cinema and will be packed with a lineup of big Punjabi projects.

Another new big release date announcement has been made today. A new big Punjabi film is gearing up for release in this coming summer. This movie is none other than the much speculated project Mastaney. The film was announced in 2022 and the film is now all set to release on the the silver screen this year.

Mastaney stars Tarsem Jassar and Simi Chahal in the lead. The jodi is already loved by the audience after the Rabb Da Radio Series. Alongside the lead pair, a lineup of polished actors including Gurpreet Ghuggi, Karamjit Anmol, Honey Mattu, Baninder Bunny and many others will be playing pivotal roles in the film.

Produced under the banners of Vehli Janta Films and Omjee Star Studios, the film is being directed by renowned Punjabi director Sharan Art. The shooting of the film has already started, and the first schedule of the film’s shoot has already been wrapped up. Mastaney will be an epic tale of lionhearted warriors from the rise of Sikh Empire, and the movie is all set to release in the cinemas on 9 June 2023. The fans are super excited about the film and looking forward to it.
