The producers of Punjabi film The Mastermind Jinda Sukha have made it clear that the film will release overseas as scheduled, irrespective of the decision of Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Talking to Punjabi Mania, the producers said the film is being re examined today and they are awaiting a response from the censor board.
Asked if the certificate for public screening of the film is revoked, will they go ahead with the release in international markets, the producers replied that it was too late to stop now as everything is organised for the international release of the film.
The film’s release has earlier been postponed too because of the issues with the censor board. The film was finally given a certificate after few scenes were cut from the film in July. But following inputs of possibility of unrest by the content of the movie, the CBFC is reconsidering the certificate issued to the film.
