Recently, there were rumours doing the rounds that the ace actor Diljit Dosanjh who has been an Integral Part of White Hill Production has been replaced by Ammy Virk, in their upcoming film. This news was even published on a relatively new web portal by the name ‘Ghaint Punjab’. The website has been carrying the news since May 26. However the news has now been revised on the website.

When Punjabi Mania contacted the officials at White Hill to confirm the news, Gunbir Singh Sidhu of White Hill Production rubbished rumours of Dosanjh being replaced and stated, “Diljit bhaji has been an integral part of White Hill Production and we will surely work with him in future as well. Signing another artist does not essentially mean that the previous has has been replaced.” Adding to Sidhu’s comment, Param Oberoi of WHP stated, “New websites are coming up in Punjabi Cinema everyday and they use their figment of imagination to create baseless stories just to grab some eyeballs.”

Reacting to Ghaint Punjab’s article Gunbir Singh Sidhu added, “The very website should know that a film is never made with just one artist and there are others involved as well. We have made a note of the article and will surely initiate a Legal Action against the said website.”

This news comes amidst the release of Sardaarji 2 which is just 3 weeks away from release and opens on June 24 worldwide. Sardaarji 2 has been produced by White Hill Production and features Diljit Dosanjh in the lead alongside Sonam Bajwa, Monica Gill, Jaswinder Bhalla, Yashpal Sharma & others.
