The first full day inside the Bigg Boss 20 house turned small requests into arguments and a premiere-night twist into a real setback. Mahhi Vij’s way of asking for help with luggage and tea irritated several housemates. Kanika Mann then used the special power she had received on opening night to name Qazi Touqeer as the person she did not like, removing him from the first captaincy race. A separate dispute between Qazi and Yung DSA added more noise before the birthday-themed task began.
A request, or an order?
Mahhi asked Aman Gandhi to move her bag. Aman objected to the way he was addressed and wanted a request rather than an instruction. The issue followed them beyond the luggage. Later, Mahhi asked about making tea and suggested that Love Gill should know how because she was a woman. Isha Rikhi questioned the assumption, while Arishfa Khan also complained about being directed toward kitchen work. The disagreement was less about one cup of tea than about who could set the tone for shared duties.
Kanika uses the power from the premiere
The premiere had given Kanika a special chance to take something from a housemate she disliked. On 7 September she named Qazi, saying she felt he did not listen and pushed his own views. Bigg Boss removed Qazi from the first captaincy contest. That choice had a concrete effect on the game; it did not mean Kanika had won the captaincy herself. Qazi remained in the house and was later given a role in the task.
Qazi, Arishfa and Yung collide
Qazi argued with Arishfa after she objected to being treated like a child. Yung became involved, and his exchange with Qazi grew heated enough for others to step in. The accounts describe sarcastic remarks and personal lines being crossed. What matters for the continuing story is that Qazi, already out of the captaincy running, now had another strained relationship to manage. The episode did not settle who would lead the house.
The birthday task begins
Bigg Boss marked the show’s twentieth season with a birthday-themed round in the captaincy competition. Because Kanika’s choice had excluded Qazi as a contender, he was assigned to moderate the cake task instead. That kept him central to the activity even after he lost his own chance at captaincy. The task’s full outcome belonged to later episodes, so this date is the beginning of the race rather than its result.
Our take
The first proper house day gave the season two useful threads to follow. Mahhi’s interactions raised an everyday question about manners and chores; Kanika’s decision showed that an early advantage could change a contestant’s route through the game. Qazi’s clashes made both threads more personal. It is too early to call these permanent alliances or rivalries, but the house is already testing whose voice carries weight.
