Pinky Moge Wali was a much hyped and anticipated Punjabi Movie. Born out of Jihne Mera Dil Luteya, the movie had a huge craze among the youngsters. Such was the craze of the movie that young lads started collecting outside the cinemas even before they had opened. And once the cinemas got opened they rushed to the ticket windows to get their tickets.

Day one was business for Pinky Moge Wali, thanks to Neeru Bajwa who drew a large number of fans into the cinema. The shows were nearly filled, with occupancy rates somewhere close to 95%.

But it did not last long. The zeal with which people came to see the movie, died shortly after the intermission. We saw people getting out before the movie ended. There were some lame faces, who expected something better from the movie.

Day one succeeded to draw people to the cinema but failed to win hearts of the punjabi audience.
