Dreamreality Films and Omjee Star Studios announce two movies: The two production houses have joined hands for a two-movie deal.

Promoting synergy in the Punjabi film industry, two renowned production houses have come together to announce two Punjabi movies. Having earlier worked successfully in the Rupinder Gandhi series, ‘Dakuaan Da Munda‘ and most recently in ‘DSP Dev’, Dreamreality Films and Omjee Star Studios have joined hand once again.

The biggest upshot of the development is them announcing sequel of the super-hit movie Dakuaan Da Munda. Released in 2018, the movie ended up creating a historic havoc at the box-office on Day 1 followed by a highest pan-India collection.

Punjabi Mania understands that the sequel will be a continuation from the first part. Dev Kharoud, who successfully portrayed the character of Mintu Gurusaria in the first part, will continue doing the same.

While many details about the movie haven’t been revealed as of now, it is confirmed that it will release on September 11 next year, i.e., exactly a year from today.

Titled ‘Mangal Taara’, the second movie will also release next year. However, the date of the same hasn’t been confirmed as of now. While the cast of the movie remains unknown at this point in time, Mangal Taara will be directed by Royal Singh.

It is worth mentioning that Royal Singh will make his directorial debut with ‘Amaanat’ this year. The movie will release on November 29.
