In the general run of things, doctors perform their operations in a particular hospital. Some of them, who visit as specialists in various hospitals might be performing them at discrete venues. However, noted Punjabi singer turned actor turned on-screen veterinary doctor, Ravinder Grewal, alias Dr. Jelly, a screen name in his upcoming movie, ‘Dangar Doctor Jelly’, will be operating in more or less all cinema halls near the Punjabi audiences (both in Punjab and overseas) on this Diwali (October 20).
The festive season is on a full swing. The audiences want to enjoy and have a blast during the season of Diwali. We at Punjabi Mania feel that the content of Dangar Doctor Jelly should appeal to the wider audiences and masses in the states of Punjab & Haryana. They were all confident about Dangar Doctor Jelly and said that this release will open new doors for Punjabi Film Industry where Punjabi films will start competing with bigger hindi films and we will get to see more& more films releasing on festivals in Punjab as well.
Also we visited a few colleges to check out the mood of the youth and what their plans were for the Upcoming Diwali. We were surprised to find out that many of them had already planned to watch Dangar Doctor Jelly along with their families or friends on Diwali. Some of them were excited to watch the film for Sara Gurpal (especially boys) and some were even excited to watch the comic duo of B N Sharma & Karamjit Anmol.
