The new year has started, giving way to new ideas, projects, announcements and releases. The Punjabi industry is thrilled to start the fresh and exciting 2023, which is going to be a power packed year for the Punjabi cinema with many big projects lined up for release.

The desi rockstar of the Punjabi industry- Gippy Grewal, never fails to throw surprise bombs at the audience. Gippy, who celebrated his birthday today, has given a big return gift to his fans. This return gift is in the form of two big announcements. Earlier today, the star announced his film ‘Sheran Di Kaum Punjabi’, which is slated to release on Baisakhi 2024. This big announcement was followed by one more surprise ball, as the star took it to his social media to announce one more big project.

The grand announcement is of Gippy’s first series. Gippy Grewal always turns heads with his project choices and never shies away from making bold moves. The star has announced his first series titled Outlaw. Gippy along with playing the lead, has also produced and written this new series.

The project is in collaboration with Chaupal Studios. Chaupal studios is a new regional streaming platform which has gained mass popularity in the last one year and has become a household name. Outlaw is a Chaupal Original and the new series will be streamed on Chaupal TV. The series has been produced under the banners of Gippy Grewal’s home production banner-Big Daddy Films and Chaupal Studios.

Alongside Gippy Grewal, the starcast of the series will also include powerful actors including Prince Kanwaljit Singh and Yograj Singh. The series is being directed by none other than Baljit Singh Deo. Deo and Gippy make a magical jodi and have done dozens of projects together. Both the artists work beautifully together and nail each of their work.

The first poster of the series is out. The theme of the series seems to be dark and intense. Not many details about the project are out yet. The fans are very excited about this new series and are looking forward to more intricate details. The fans are super elated to have received this good news on Gippy’s birthday, which has doubled their exhilaration.
