Mehreen Pirzada to enter Punjabi industry with DSP Dev: The Punjabi industry is all set to witness the entry of a talented actress in the upcoming movie named 'DSP Dev'.

In what will be Mandeep Benipal's second movie of 2019 after 'Kaka Ji', 'DSP Dev' will witness actress Mehreen Pirzada making her debut in the Punjabi film industry.

Punjabi audiences have earlier seen as Anu in Anshai Lal's 'Phillauri' (2017), which also starred superstar Diljit Dosanjh. In what was her maiden Hindi movie, Pirzada has been part of as many as nine South Indian movies (Telugu and Tamil combined) in her three-year old acting career.

Belonging to a Punjabi family, Pirzada would be relished to work in the Punjabi language. Moreover, making her debut opposite Dev Kharoud in a film directed by Mandeep Benipal and produced by Dreamreality Movies has it in it to call for a potentially successful debut.

DSP Dev was announced in the second week of December. The makers also locked the release date of the movie by the third week. The shooting of the movie had begun a week ago.
