Singham to release on August 9: One of the most-awaited Punjabi movies of this year in 'Singham' has got a release date.
The news of super-hit Hindi movie 'Singham' being remade in Punjabi had taken the Punjabi film industry by storm 11 months ago. While it was mentioned that the film will hit the cinema halls this year, the exact date wasn't known.
The recent announcement regarding the same has ended the murmurs regarding the same as the movie is slated to release on August 9 this year.
Directed by Navaniat Singh, the film stars one of the most followed contemporary names in Parmish Verma as the protagonist. While Sonam Bajwa will be seen playing the lead role opposite Verma, Kartar Cheema will play the villian in the movie.
The shoot of the movie had started around November last year. Given the fan-following of all the names involved, one expects this action-packed movie to create tremors on the box-office as well.
