Yuvraj Hans to play lead: The singer-turned-actor will be seen playing the lead role in director Simranjit Singh Hundal’s next Punjabi movie.

Singer-turned-actor Yuvraj Hans, who has recently been blessed with a baby boy, seems to have extended his streak of happiness in the form of a lead role in an upcoming Punjabi movie.

Hans, who was seen alongside Sonam Bajwa and Parmish Verma in Pankaj Batra’s ‘Jinde Meriye’ earlier this year, will now play the lead role in a movie titled ‘Punjabi……?’.

Director Simranjit Singh Hundal, who had co-directed ‘Nanka Mel’ with Prince Kanwaljit Singh last year and most recently directed a short-film around the COVID-19 lockdown, has been given the responsibility to direct Punjabi……? which has been announced in the morning.

In addition to Hans, Punjabi……? will also witness the debut of two singer-turned-actors in Sweetaj Brar and Guri Sandhu. It is worth mentioning that Brar is the daughter of late Punjabi singer Raj Brar. Apart from her single track named ‘Raah Puchda’, Brar was also part of a duet song (alongside Prabh Gill) named ‘Love You Oye‘.

Writer-actor Deedar Gill, who had last written ‘Vadda Kalakaar’ (2018), has written the script of Punjabi……? which will be produced under the banners of K2 Records and Amaris Films.

Talking precisely about Hans, he will also be seen opposite wife Mansi Sharma in Manbhavan Singh’s ‘Parindey‘. Had it not been for the ongoing lockdown, Hans-starer ‘Yaar Anmulle Returns‘ would have also hit the big screens till now.
