Sushant Singh Rajput death: The unfortunate demise of the illustrious Bollywood actor has come as a shock to fans across the country.
In a shocking turn of events, Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has died by suicide at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai, earlier this afternoon. The unfortunate development regarding the demise of the 34-year old actor has come as yet another devastating news in the year 2020.
Having made his Bollywood debut in 2013, Rajput was famously known for portraying the role of legendary India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in his 2016-biopic titled ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’.
Rajput gained a lot of popularity after Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kai Po Che!’ (debut film) as his performance was praised by one and all. He went on to star in Maneesh Sharma’s ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ (2013), Dibakar Banerjee’s ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshi’ (2015), Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Sonchiriya’ (2019), Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Chhichhore’ (2019) among others.
This tragic news comes days after his former manager Disha Salian was found dead after falling off a high rise in Mumbai.
Rajput, who was last seen in Tarun Mansukhani’s ‘Drive’ last year, had an unreleased movie titled ‘Dil Bechara’. Adapted from English movie titled ‘The Fault in our Stars’, the movie will mark the directorial debut of renowned casting director Mukesh Chhabra.
