“Yaar Anmulle” the blockbuster film of 2011 was appreciated by the audience of all age groups as they enjoyed the comedy which entertained their families too. The team has reunited after 8 years to announce the sequel of their film.
Shree Filmz, A Venture of Sur Sangam Group (Since-1990) Partners of SHREE FILMZ have Mr. Jarnail Ghumaan, Mr. Adamya Singh, Dr. Varun Malik, Mr. Amandeep Sihag in association with Batra Showbiz had announced their forth coming venture titled “Yaar Anmulle Returns”. While sharing the glimpse of the first day shoot, producers of the film revealed that they have been waiting for the project since very long and finally the clap ceremony for the first shoot had taken place.
Yaar Anmulle Returns is a sequel for the previous film Yaar Anmulle released in the year 2011. Disclosing the fact about Returns, the director of the film Harry Bhatti said, “Yaar Anmulle Returns will have same characters as of Yaar Anmulle. The concept of the film would be uncommon with a unique story.” Harry Bhatti has directed several Punjabi films like Rabb Da Radio, Aate Di Chidi, Do Dooni Panj and more. The credits for the story, screenplay and dialogues have been taken by Gurjind Maan who had penned down various hit films like Once Upon A Time in Amritsar, Wand, Punjab Singh and many more.
The star cast of the film is having Yuvraj Hans, Harish Verma & Prabh Gill on main lead and on the other hand Navpreet Banga, Nikeet Dhillon and Jesleen Slaich will play the female lead opposite to them.
Navpreet Banga had recently worked with Yo Yo Honey Singh after acting in her Punjabi film Munda Faridkotia. Nikeet Dhillon’s previous film was Sikandar 2 where she played female lead opposite to Guri. Jesleen Slaich can be seen in infinite superhit Punjabi songs like Bapu Zimindar, Lancer Dabda Kithe Aa etc. The shooting of the film has begun and the first shooting session began at Prashar lake in Himachal Pradesh and other locations include the likes of Punjab.
The film is being produced by Adamya Singh, Dr Varun Malik, Amandeep Sihag, Mithu Jhajhra & Rajan Batra. The music is given by Gurmeet Singh & Pargat Ghumaan. The line producer of the film is designated to H.Virk who had worked in various block buster films of Punjab and Inderjit Gill is the creative producer for the same. The DOP of the shoot will be handled by Anshul Chobey who has been associated with blockbuster projects like Punjab 1984, Jatt & Juliet 1 as well as 2, Ambarsariya, Diso Singh and many more. Paramjit Ghumaan is the associate director. The job of stills and making will be done by Lally Gill.
The release date of the film has been set on 6th March 2020. The announcement of the film had ignited the excitement levels of the audience who are eagerly waiting to celebrate their Valentine’s in the theatres watching Yaar Anmulle Returns.
