Punjabi Cinema is growing at a rapid pace. Ever other day, a new film gets announced. 2019 is going to be a very important year for the Punjabi industry as it marks the release of many big Punjabi films. One such film which will release in the coming year is Muklawa.

The film stars the Nikka Zaildar duo Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa. As was the case in the Nikka Zaildar series, the movie will be directed by Simerjit Singh, who also directed Gippy Grewal’s Mar Gaye Oye Loko this year. Coming straight from the tried and tested hands of White Hill Studios, the movie is produced by Gunbir Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu. Apart from them, Greyslate Pictures is also associated with this project. Other than the leading pair, the movie will also star Karamjit Anmol, Gurpreet Ghuggi and B.N. Sharma. Post ‘Saab Bahadar’, this is Ammy Virk’s second movie with White Hill Studios.

We had recently shared the news of postponement of the release date of Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa starrer Shadaa. Like Shadaa, the makers of Muklawa have also changed their release date. The movie which was to release on 3 May 2019, will now release on 24 May 2019. The reason for the postponement of the release date has not been disclosed.
