The legendary star of Punjabi industry and world renowned singer- Sidhu Moose Wala was an inspiration to many. He was not only idolised by the youth, but was also very popular amongst the elderly segment of society. The young star, who recently lost his life, has a wide fan base across age groups and spread across regions.
After Moose Wala’s death, many of his fans made efforts and took initiatives to give a tribute to the late legendary artist and to highlight his good work. Recently one such initiative was taken by a Chandigarh-based cyclist group ‘Dil Se’. 50 cyclists of the group participated in this initiative.
The cyclists cycled for 20.5 km, drawing 295 on their track, as a tribute to the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala. The ride took place in Chandigarh on Sunday, 17 July 2022. The group started its ride at the Sector 43-44 roundabout and took approximately one hour to conclude it at the Sector 4 petrol pump.
The route of the ride was designed by a group member- Amit Sharma. He designed the route in order to create the number 295, which is the title of Moose Wala’s very famous song. The group believes that the song is very meaningful and relatable and that it is the best way to dedicate the ride to the late artist. Amit Sharma, who designed the route, first did a rehearsal to see that the number 295 gets formed on Strava app and then finalised the track. Despite of the heavy rain on Sunday, the group completed the track in an hour.
It is heartwarming to witness different people and different groups making efforts in order to give a tribute to the talented star- Sidhu Moose Wala, who deserves every bit of such commendation from his fans.
