After the super success of Shadaa, Diljit Dosanjh is all set for his next Punjabi film. The title of the upcoming film is Jodi. The movie was announced earlier this year and the shooting of the film had commenced in the first week of this month. Popular singer and actress Nimrat Khaira will play the female lead in the film.

The film Jodi is a project by Gurpreet Palher and the title of the film suggests that the movie will be a romantic drama. The makers of the film recently revealed the release date of the movie and Diljit Dosanjh took it to his social media handle to share it with his fans. The film will hit the big screens on 26 June 2020.

The film is being made under the banner of Rhythm Boyz and Dalmora Films Private Limited. The movie is being produced by the superstar of the Punjabi cinema and the multi talented artist Amrinder Gill and his brother Karaj Gill. The movie has been written and is being directed by the popular writer, director and actor of the Punjabi industry- Amberdeep Singh. The movie Jodi, will mark the collaboration of Amrinder Gill and Amberdeep Singh for the fifth time after the four superhit films- Angrej, Love Punjab, Lahoriye and Ashke.

Not many details about the film have been disclosed till now. It would be interesting to see whether Amrinder Gill, who is the producer of the movie, will be acting in the film or not. The fans have high expectations from the movie and are eagerly looking forward to more details about the film.
