A busy summer awaits the Punjabi Film Industry as there is a flurry of films announced to release between the summer months of May-August. The latest one to join the bandwagon of summer releases is ‘Shareek 2’. The starcast of the film includes celebrated actors including Jimmy Sheirgill, Dev Kharoud, Sharan Kaur, Yograj Singh, Mukul Dev, Aman Sutardhar, Mahavir Bhullar, Amar Noorie, Sunita Dhir, Anita Meet & many more.

Navaniat Singh, who had directed Shareek (2015), has directed its second installment as well. Made under the banner of Ohri Productions, White Hill Studios & Thind Motion Films, the film has been produced by Vivek Ohri, Gunbir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Sidhu and Daljit Thind. Shareek 2 will hit the silver screens later this summer on 24th June, 2022.

Shot in Muktsar, Jalalabad, Fazilka & nearby areas, Shareek 2 is the 2nd installment in the Shareek franchise which began in 2015. The film earlier set for a release in the Summer of 2020, however it was postponed due to the Covid 19 Pandemic worldwide. This film will be first time when Jimmy Sheirgill & Dev Kharoud will be seen working with each other.
